Jack Bauer’s 24 hours just ran out.
Actor Kiefer Sutherland was arrested for driving under the influence in West Hollywood on early Tuesday morning. Police sources told TMZ that Sutherland was stopped just after 1:00 am PST at the intersection of La Cienega and Beverly Boulevard.
Sutherland has been in attendance at the FOX Fall party at Area nightclub. Sutherland was pulled over after making an illegal U-turn. He took a breathalyzer test and his blood alcohol level was above the .08 legal limit in California.
He was arrested for misdemeanor DUI and taken to the Hollywood Police station. He was booked at 4:09 AM and released at 5:42 AM on $25,000 bail.
Sources told TMZ.com, Sutherland was "cooperative and mellow" while he was in custody.
He is scheduled to face a judge on October 16.
