Hayek Gives Birth

Actress Salma Hayek, 41, has given birth to her first child, a girl named Valentina Paloma Pinault.
“Mother and child are doing well,” Hayek’s publicist Cari Ross told the Associated Press.
A source told Us Magazine that Hayek has had the baby's name picked out since she was six months pregnant. "She told everyone she loved Valentina because it strong and romantic," says the source.
The Ugly Betty producer announced her pregnancy, along with her engagement to the father of her daughter, Francois-Henri Pinault, in March. Businessman Pinault is the CEO of PPR, which owns Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and various other retail stores.
Hayek hosted her own baby shower at the end of August at her home in the Hollywood Hills.
Hayek commented, “Motherhood is not for everyone. It is for me.”
